Main Street Zephyrhills will host its annual Halloween Howl on Main Street on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, from 4 to 9 p.m. at 38500 5th Ave. in downtown Zephyrhills. The event is free and open to families, and it has become one of the city's most reliable fall traditions for parents looking for a safe, walkable alternative to trick-or-treating on unfamiliar streets.

The event is organized by Main Street Zephyrhills and listed through the Zephyrhills Chamber of Commerce. It runs at Zephyr Park, the same downtown grounds Main Street uses for many of its seasonal festivals, so parking and layout will be familiar to anyone who has been to a Founders Day or holiday event there before.

This year's Halloween Howl includes a haunted house and a haunted forest, along with games, live entertainment and treats for kids. Organizers have run similar setups in past years, mixing spookier attractions for older kids with lighter, treat-focused stops for younger children and toddlers.

What to know before you go

  • Date and time: Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, 4 to 9 p.m.
  • Location: 38500 5th Ave., Zephyrhills (Zephyr Park, downtown)
  • Cost: Free to attend
  • Contact: (813) 780-1414

Because the event runs into the evening, families with younger kids may want to arrive earlier for the games and lighter activities before the haunted attractions ramp up after dark. As with past Main Street events, expect the surrounding downtown blocks to be busy with foot traffic, so plan for a short walk from wherever you park.

Main Street Zephyrhills has not released a detailed map of attraction locations or a lineup for the live entertainment. Updates and registration details for vendors are posted on the Main Street Zephyrhills events site, which is also where the organization tracks its full 2026 calendar of downtown festivals.
