Free Pancakes and School Supplies Downtown: Zephyrhills' Back to School Bash Set for Aug. 9
Main Street Zephyrhills' new 2026 calendar puts the Back to School Bash downtown on Sunday, Aug. 9 — paired with a free pancake breakfast and children's school-supply giveaway at First Methodist Church.
Downtown Zephyrhills will host a free, family-focused Back to School Bash on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. — and families arriving that morning can start with a free pancake breakfast and walk away with school supplies, just as the new school year gets underway.
The Bash appears on Main Street Zephyrhills' newly released 2026 event calendar. Running alongside it, First Methodist Church of Zephyrhills is putting on a free Back to School Pancake Breakfast and Children's School Supply Giveaway from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., according to the event listing. Both are free and open to everyone.

A practical morning right before school starts
The timing is the point. With classes about to resume, the morning combines two things local parents can use: a no-cost breakfast and free supplies to help kids head back to the classroom prepared.
The pancake breakfast and giveaway are being held in Cooper Hall (East & West) at First Methodist Church of Zephyrhills, 38635 5th Ave., in the heart of downtown. Organizers describe it as a chance to enjoy pancakes and community fellowship while supporting children returning to school, according to the church's event listing.
Because the breakfast wraps at 11:30 a.m. and the wider Bash runs until 3 p.m., families can eat first and then spend the rest of the day at the downtown activities.
Part of a full 2026 downtown lineup
The Back to School Bash is one stop on a busy Main Street Zephyrhills calendar for 2026. Local event listings show downtown will fill up with seasonal gatherings throughout the year:
| Event | Date |
|---|---|
| Kids Fest | June 20, 2026 |
| Summer Fest | June 27, 2026 |
| Back to School Bash | Aug. 9, 2026 |
| Halloween Howl | Oct. 24, 2026 |
| Festival of Lights | Dec. 5, 2026 |
Together, the lineup keeps downtown Zephyrhills at the center of community life across the year, from summer evenings to the December holiday season.
What to know before you go
The events are free, so there's no ticket to buy or registration required. Families planning to attend the breakfast should aim to arrive during the 9 a.m.–11:30 a.m. window, since that's when pancakes and supplies will be handed out.
Details such as the full list of Bash activities and vendors may be shared closer to the date. Residents can check Main Street Zephyrhills and the church directly for updates as August approaches.
